Popular actress Nora Danish 32, almost lost RM100,000 in damages after a boutique cafe she was on the midst of opening was robbed in Bangsar, recently.

However, the thieves only managed to stole a few dresses but fortunately kept the furnitures in its place.

"RM100,000 was the initial estimation of the cost of setting up my cafe located in the boutique, but I lost a staggering RM20,000 from the stolen jubahs.

"I had just brought in the furnitures inside the boutique and was still in the decorating process.

"I was told that the boutique was broke into at about 7 to 8 in the morning, and what was truly disappointing was that the thieves managed to run off with RM20,000 worth of dresses," explained Nora to entertainment portal murai,com.my.

Met during the launching event of her latest film Isteri Untuk Dijual (Wife For Sale) at Wisma Metrowealth, Nora told reporters that she was excited about her new venture into the boutique cafe business, which she named Kopi & Xoxo.

"Thankfully, we are currently adding some finishing touches to the store, which will open its doors on 27 March.

"However, I have not decided on our signature dishes and beverages yet. But I will make sure the menu has a East & West twist, such as the smoked beef spaghetti," she said with a smile.-MYNEWSHUB.CC
